Background

The Herts Swimming League owns two Colorado Infinity electronic starting kit systems with tripods.

The Colorado Infinity starting kit These systems are available for Members of the League to loan for Club purposes (eg Club Championships, time trials etc…). Hiring of the starting kit systems is free of charge.  However, there is a £50 deposit which is refundable on the timely and safe return of the kit.

The Loan

Systems are available for existing Members of the League.  For loan purposes Membership is defined as having paid a League entry fee (for either Major or Peanuts League) for the current ‘season’.  The ‘season’ is deemed to run from the date of the AGM (typically October), when League entry fees are paid, through to the following AGM.

The equipment must be collected and returned by the Club from one of the two locations where the kits are kept (one in the East and one in the West of the County).  The League is not responsible for delivering or collecting the loaned kits.

The loan period will not be a fixed one but will be agreed between the Club and the League. However, to maximise the kits’ availability the maximum length of loan will be 14 days (unless otherwise agreed). 
The late return of the loaned kit will result in the £50 deposit not being returned.

The Clubs are responsible for the care of the kit during the loan period. 
If a kit is damaged during the loan period this will result in the £50 deposit being retained by the League.

For each loan a ‘loan agreement form’ will need to be completed and signed before the loan can commence.
